Glenford was also creator and presenter of the radio programme Motivation at Midnight. This was a one-hour motivational feature during the weekly Saturday night programme Reflections, hosted by Junior Smith on LOVE 101 FM.

He is a member of the Governor General’s “I Believe” Initiative Committee [www.ibelieveinitiative.org]. The IBI is a values-based Initiative which is developed on the concept that we can ‘use the things that are right with Jamaica to fix the things that are wrong with Jamaica.’

Mr Smith also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Public Broadcasting Corporation of Jamaica (PBCJ).

As a speaker and trainer, Mr. Smith has addressed and worked with a wide range of audiences. These have included corporations, insurance executives, medical professionals, graduate and undergraduate university students and graduates, churches, schools, and members of the national security forces.

He is a graduate of the University of Technology and a former Electrical Engineer at the Jamaica Public Service Company where he was employed for over a decade. In this capacity, in 2003, he earned a merit award and special citation for outstanding performance for his work on the Northern Coastal Highway Improvement Project.

He lives with his wife, Aldith, in Portmore, St. Catherine.
